Breastfeed and formula feed??

Question

Does anyone do both? Like for example.. i saw its okay to do breastfeeding during the day and formula at night. Or mix the two in bottles.

You can do either as your the mom. Personally I would stick with breastfeeding completely. Both are digested differently and there are many babies who have trouble tolerating formula. Are you thinking baby will sleep longer on formula at night? That’s not always true. Yes babies typically go longer without eating on formula because it’s not as easily digested. I dont think that necessarily a good thing tho. 
But like I said it will be your choice and really any amount of breastmilk you are able to give that baby will be beneficial, even if you can’t or don’t want to 100% breastfeed.

Just remember that breastfeeding is supply and demand based. So if you’re feeding formula, your supply will drop accordingly. Also, little ones tummy might not tolerate the differences well. But you’re mama and can do as you please.

Many women supplement with formula. It’s a great way to ensure your little one is eating enough (if that’s the reason for it, of course) while also still getting the benefits from nutrients in mama’s milk. I wouldn’t mix the two in a bottle together though if that’s what you meant at the end. 
The only downside I’ve noticed with formula aside from the cost of it in general is that my daughter started having bad reflux issues with it once we put her on it.
