If you don’t know how to use protection I highly doubt you know when you’re ovulating.
You can get pregnant 5 days before and day of ovulation (your fertile week).  If you’re not in your fertile week, you can’t get pregnant.  But it’s difficult to monitor ovulation.  This app is normally not exactly accurate.

Yes they say ovulation is the key time to get pregnant but sperm can live in you for about 5 days so that’s why it’s possible of getting pregnant even if you had sex before or after ovulation. Even how safe you think you are it can still happen. You are young and all these women shouldn’t be getting pissed at you for not being informed properly. Now I do suggest if your gonna be sexually active then get on the pill and use condoms to be safe because I know someone who got pregnant at 13 and it can be hard on you and the child. I wish you the best of luck and if you have concerns then I’m sure your school counselor will be glad to inform you of the risks and what you can do.
