Advice switching to formula?

Question

Any parents out there have any tips on transitioning from breastmilk to formula? I'm producing less and less milk so I'm trying to wean my son off the boob and into drinking formula. We've only tried Similac advance powder and Similac liquid for spit up (because he was projectile throwing up with regular formula) but he honestly won't take either. Every bottle I give him gets me one betrayed look and an angry baby. Any tips or advice?

What makes you worry that your supply is going down? And how old is baby?

Maybe try half breast milk and half formula?

My son gave me major shade about formula at first- I assume he will also be upset about having to do homework one day- life is about dealing with frustration and doing things we dont want to... he is the child Im the adult, after being continually presented with that as the only option he succumbed.

To switch my oldest I started with only mixing formula with breast milk then went 50/50 with water and breast milk then 75/25 with water and breast milk then to just water, and I started with the total comfort so it would be easier on her tummy. Took 2 months to fully switch over. With my youngest I went straight to formula for medical reasons and honestly for me I think she sleeps better cause since two months old she has only woke once at night for a bottle whereas my oldest 2 1/2 still wakes two or more times a night and has since 3 months old. But then again each baby is different
