Give me some knowledge

I was just wondering how long after oral sex does it take for herpes to appear on the mouth/lips? I got a cold sore today which typically are hereditary for me. I haven’t gotten one in over a year and I got one this morning.

I performed unprotected oral sex on a guy in mid October (15th). He said he was clean as well as the guy before him. It prob sounds ridiculous but is it possible for the oral herpes virus to appear now (2 months later) after I gave him head?

I’m clean in terms of everything else but I’m just wondering
