Do I tell people?!

I’m only 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant... each year we have a girls Christmas prosecco party and it’s my time to host this year, its happening tomorrow night! I’m so anxious about people watching me (2 girls in my group already suspect I’m pregnant) and having to pour my alcohol free prosecco in private... do I just come clean? They are my best friends but I am fully aware that it is so early! I don’t know if I would be tempting fate by telling them but at the moment I’m not looking forward to tomorrow and just cannot relax! What would you do??

I have always had the thought process of celebrating it, no matter how early, with the people who would be there in case something did happen. It sounds like those girls are your best friends, and it would be those same girls who you’d want to confide in if there was a problem. I would hate to be stressed and anxious at a time that’s supposed to be so fun, but just my two cents. Congratulations as well! 💛✨

I was in the same position!! We had our annual girls Xmas party but I just said I ate something during the day that made me feel unwell. 3 of the 7 know out of my besties iv decided to tell the other 3 in person after I pick up my scan results Monday :-) I am 5w3d 
Also I have a lot of functions on this time of the year and I feel like me not drinking is ruining the suprise because of everyone’s suspicions 😞

I'm in a similar dilemma. My partner and I aren't sure what we're going to do yet (we want the baby but there's a LOT of reasons not too) but I go home for Christmas break in two weeks and it's going to be REALLY obvious if i'm not drinking.

If you'd rather not tell them yet, you can open a bottle of regular prosecco and pour it into glasses ahead of time. Then pour your alcohol free beverage into the empty bottle. Hand your friends their glasses and then pour yourself one out of the swapped bottle. You just need to have one glass in front of them to put off their suspicions. I understand not wanting to tell anyone yet. You just want to make sure everything is okay before you start telling people. Good luck with everything!

I never announced early i always wait too scared if anything happens. But im sure you dont gave to drink. Why can't you just not be feeling well.
