confused feelings for bf/crush

So pretty much i was asked out the other day by a guy i was considering, and i said yes. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We’re now in a sort of official relationship but we haven’t gone out yet, and everyone thinks i shouldn’t be with him. He’s really cute and all but part of me is wondering if this was a bad idea.
