It shouldn't hurt if you're doing it right. I've spoken to pornstars about the anal situation as an outsider looking for advice and their main tips were:
1. Use a condom. It smooths things out, keeps the lube on better, and decreases chances of STIs being transmitted.

I did it for the first time two nights ago. starting with the finger is awful because it doesn't go in enough so the entire time your body is rejecting it and tightening up. so after we did the awful finger for a few seconds I told him to just put his dick in slowly. it went in all the way and it wasn't unbearably painful. the first couple inches is the worst part because your ass if trying to force it out. just let him put it in all the way very slowly and you'll immediately understand why I am saying this. it wasn't nearly as awful as I had anticipated, but I only did it once. Done it with two partners now and at first I always seemed to agree to it when I was drunk and hated it it never hurt just uncomfortable but now I love it and sometimes prefer it.
