Two and a half months late..Please help!!

Hey all, so this is going to be kind of long winded. But I would super appreciate if you read it all and might have some advice. Especially if you’ve had a similar experience? I’m kind of at wits end here. So I went off of the pill at the beginning of August as we were ready to start trying for a baby. I didn’t get my first natural period until Sept. 25th and it lasted until Sept. 29th. I have not had a period since then and I keep getting negative pregnancy tests. Just a side note, before I went on the pill 3 years ago my periods were ALWAYS on time and predictable. So basically I haven’t had a period in two and a half months. I know a lot of people say it takes awhile to get your cycle back to normal after birth control, but I feel like this is a little extreme. Please, if this has happened to you or if you know of anything let me know. I decided if I still don’t get a BFP or period by the end of December I’m going to go see my OB.
