How to decide to switch to formula?

My baby is just 9 days old but stopped wanting to latch around day 5. So I have been pumping and giving him a bottle. He does great with a bottle. Should I try the breast again? But I struggle with wanting to quit breastfeeding altogether. I feel like I am trapped in my house because every 3 hours I have to pump. I also feel guilty because it's only been 9 days and I am so tired I can't seem to make any decisions. How to I decide what is right for myself and baby?

If you want to breastfeed, definitely hire a lactation consultant ASAP. I had a hard time the first week with my first child. A lactation consultant immediately solved all our problems.
Pumping exclusively is incredibly hard as you have figured out yourself. 
Ultimately, fed is best. Hang in there mama. You are doing great no matter what. Don’t beat yourself up.

This is one of the millions of reasons why I chose not to breastfeed at all. Our daughter was exclusively formula fed from birth and I have zero regrets. You don't HAVE to breastfeed. It's not the only option and it's not going to guarantee a healthy, intelligent child or anything ridiculous like that. Our daughter has always been ahead in her milestones and has never once been sick (she's now 18 months). Formula feeding allows me to come and go as I want or need and it's been so much better for my mental health. My husband has had the opportunity to bond with her more as well since he's also able to feed her. Formula is a lifesaver. We love it so much and I fully plan to formula feed all future babies as well.

My health made the choice for me. I had to start a treatment that wasn’t approved for breastfeeding. 
If you want to nurse, schedule an appointment with a lactation consultant. They can help a lot. But if you’d rather use formula, that’s okay too. Your well-being matters.

My kids kinda made the choice personally for me if the kid doesn't want to breastfeed or I have trouble for me it's better not to worry or forced them to something they don't want.
