Off limits

Am I the only one who feels like their bedroom is off limits to visitors? I dont like people sitting on my bed. And I definitely dont entertain company in my room.

Today my in laws showed up unannounced to see baby boy. I had JUST laid him down for his nap and was in the kitchen when the doorbell rang. My SO told them that the baby was in our room asleep and asked them to go ahead and wash their hands. He went to use the bathroom and I realized no one was in the kitchen with me washing their hands. When I went looking, both my FIL and MIL were in my room sitting on my bed, holding the baby.

I wasnt even pissed about them holding the baby. I wanted to yell for them to get their nasty asses off my bed. I dont even sit on my bed in street clothes. Then when I suggested we move to the living room, they were like, no...we're fine here. Luckily my SO came out if the bathroom in time and stepped in before I started cursing. As soon as I got them settled in the living room with the baby, I changed my sheets.
