I feel like I’m stuck making an impossible decision. (Flu shot)
I am 26 years old. In all of my adult years, I have never gotten the flu shot. Neither I, nor my mother, remembers the last time I got a flu shot. My mother also cannot recall a time when I ever got the flu.
I am pregnant. I will be 22 weeks pregnant in March when I take an 11hr, international flight, from S. Korea to the U.S., then another 5hr flight, to another state.
I cannot for the life of me decide whether or not I should get the flu shot. Simply because I do not know how my body would handle a flu shot after not having one for so long. I know of people who have gotten the flu from the shot. But I also realize the risks of being trapped on a plane for such a long time... I may get the flu then. There’s no way to know.
So I need help deciding. 😔
