Call from dr?

I had my anatomy scan done yesterday to find out I'm having a girl. The ultrasound tech said she saw everything she needed. This afternoon the receptionist called me saying the dr wants to do a follow up ultrasound at my next appt (24 weeks). I'm 20 weeks now. I'm panicking because they couldn't tell me why. Any ideas? Thank you

It's possible that they did not get everything they needed. Happened to me. If it were an emergency, they wouldn't make you wait that long.

They won't tell you because the doctor has to tell you. The tech could actually get in big trouble for saying anything to you. I had to go in after my 20 week because they decided my daughters nasal bone was a teeny tiny bit shorter than "average" and it COULD be a soft marker for DS. It was awful and really freaked me out. But she's six weeks now and perfectly healthy.
