Amber teething necklace?

I see so many babies wearing these. Theyre just for teething or anything else? Are they safe? I’d be afraid to use it on my child bc it’s around the neck.....

Our pediatrician said they’re not safe because if they break the baby can choke on the beads, or it can strangle the baby. Some people use them around the baby’s ankle or wrist, but it can still technically break and cause a choking hazard. My son liked the baby banana toothbrush, or other silicone or wood teethers. Frozen teethers are great too.

My daughter wore hers for two years straight. We never had any teething problems at all & because we never took it off she never noticed it so she didn’t pull on it or anything 🤷‍♀️ Worked for us, getting one for baby #2

They are perfectly safe just don’t let the baby sleep with the necklace on

I’ve heard great things about them. Two babies I used to Nanny wore them from very young ages, all the way until two or three. The necklace was small enough though to wear it fit comfortably and safely. They looked so cute, too.
