What are your thoughts?

Question

Epidural? This will be my 4th child that I will be delivering on Wednesday as I’m getting induced. My past 3 children were delivered naturally without the epidural. I’m really considering it this time around. What are your thoughts of getting the epidural ladies? 
Any of you regret it? 
How was the recovery? 
Thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated!

100% get it! I didn’t with my first, and it was an awful experience. With my second I did, and it was heavenly. I could relax and actually have conversations with family. Even took a nice nap! You can still push, it doesn’t feel like you are... but you are haha. I honestly think healing was the same with both. It wears off pretty quickly, so you’ll get feeling again soon after!

I don’t regret it. It was heavenly. I could still move my legs and feel pressure to push and the ring of fire. I healed quickly and was up walking within a few hours. I hope I can get one for this labour too.

I got one with both. My first labor I wouldn't have gotten through without it. No problems recovering unless u count that with the one I just had they forgot to turn it off so it took forever to get feeling back but after I was up and walking around no problem.

Just had my first baby, had an epidural... life changing!!! Haha I felt like I wanted to crawl out of my body with each contraction before the epidural. The epidural allowed me to lay there and actually chat with my husband and relax! Went from 4.5-5cm to 9.5 cm in like 2.5 hours. 😁

Epidural was super easy. I’d do it again 100x over.

I’m in the same boat..baby #4 and considering the epidural..never had it with the others. My only issue is the being stuck in bed aspect..I like moving around in labour so I’m really torn. 
Gotta figure it out soon lol..my induction is in 3 days 😳
