Hoping this is it!

39+5 and went in to L&D for a NST/BPP because my doc insists I'm 40+2. As soon as they hooked me up, I started having contractions 3 minutes apart for close to an hour. Not super strong, but steady. They did send me home anyway since I'm still only 3 cm & 80% effaced, but said they may be seeing me again tomorrow. Contractions haven't been quite as regular since we left, but they're still happening and a few have gotten pretty strong. So hoping this is the real deal and I'll get to wake up (if I can even fall asleep!) and head to the hospital to meet my little guy. I've been dilated for four and a half weeks and even my doctor doesn't believe he's not here yet, so I'm looking forward to ending the endless stream of "any news yet?" Texts. :)
