* warning — gross * Is it normal for puppies to eat their own poop...

I’m really worried. I feed my puppy the recommended amount per day. She’s 12 weeks by the way. The vet gave her a regular check up (checked her heart rate and all) and she was fine. But for he last couple of days she has been eating her poop right after she goes to the bathroom..? It’s really gross and I pick all of her poop up as soon as she goes but ofcourse there’s times she poops and I’m not quick enough to pick it up. I’m kind of worried about her because online it said it could be some kind of health issue, but then other sites said it’s fairly normal? Idk. I don’t know what to do and I’m worried she might have some kind of disease. Has anyone else had a dog who did this? If so do you know the cause? How did you stop it? Please help

Edit: I feed her Purina Pro Plan for large breed puppies. She’s a Labrador retriever, the vet said she was growing at an almost perfect pace by the way. Not underweight or overweight. So I’m at a loss. :(
