Baby Colics?! Help

I am a FTM my little one is 5 weeks. For the past week my baby has been having some moments when he just cries and wont stop. I notice that sometimes before he cries, he does this thing where he curls up then he just starts the screaming and crying. I usually grab him right away and try bouncing him and talking to him, it helps him. I also do exercises with his little feet. Everyone tells me he has bad colics and thats why he cries and fusses so much! Could it be? He eats good, he poops and pees good ect. I bought the Dr. Brown bottles for him since day one. He is usually worse at night. He just wont stop fussing and wants to be in our arms. The moment he falls asleep and we try putting him down he begins to cry. I have tried the whole him sleeping with me in bed but not even that helps. Could it be that he is just going through a thing? Have any of you moms experience something similiar with your newborn? What can i do to help him? Please if any of you ladies have any advice it will be appreciated.
