How many times have you and your partner broke up and gotten back together?

Is breaking up and getting back together all the time normal? My boyfriend and I have probably five or more times. If it’s normal for you, why do you keep putting yourself through it?

No, i do not believe it is normal to be super wishy washy about your relationship. Either you love them and are willing to do what it takes to work it out or you're not.

I did that on and off for 8 years. It doesn’t get better. I finally woke up one day and was finally fed up and left. To this day I haven’t shed one tear or regretted anything. I’m now with the most incredible man ever and it has NEVER even been thought of to leave or give up. He also agrees that there’s no breaks - if either of us ever feels we need a break - then we need to break up and there’s no getting back together after breaking up. He’s not only the man I need but the man I deserve and it was the greatest decision to finally leave or I wouldn’t be where I am now ❤️❤️ sorry for rambling lol

We have been together 7.5 years and we have never broken up. I don't really think that's a normal thing. I do believe I am about to leave him now and I won't be going back if I do. I don't understand the point of breaking up if you just get back together.

I don’t think it’s normal or healthy. But because it happens so often people have normalized it, which is absurd in my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We did once, the timing was just wasn’t right, and we were super young and immature but it was never over something dumb or that someone did something horrible. Just wrong timing and now were happier than ever. Were older and more mature about our relationship.
