Can Alzheimer's cause a heart attack in your sleep?

My husband great aunt passed away in her sleep this morning and she had Alzheimer's and other health problems. She also smoked cigarettes. She was married 58 years.

If she had other health issues and smoked I’m sure the heart attack was not because of Alzheimer’s. Sorry for your guys’ lost. 😔❤️

Absolutely not there is no correlation. Alzheimer's is the brain dying.

Not directly but the brain eventually forgets how to breathe, pump blood, and perform other vitals, but that’s not until the VERY end. If she was more recruit diagnosed there was probably no correlation! Sorry for the loss 💕💕💕

Sorry for your loss.  Alzheimer’s would not cause a heart attack. But the brain controls everything. I have heard that with enough time the brain. Forgets how to work.  But if she had other heart problems I do t think Alzheimer’s has anything to do with the heart attack.
