I have been going to the same family doctor practice since I was 4 years old. When I had a complication on a pap smear when I was 19 they referred me to my ob. The only problem is their offices are about 20/30 minutes away from my current home. My childhood home isn't much closer and I'm not sure why we went to that particular doctor office but we did.

I have been seeing my ob doctor for 8 years and really like him. I just worry that having to drive 30 minutes to the hospital he works out of might not be the best idea. I live in the suburbs of Detroit so it wouldn't be hard finding a new doctor who is closer and works out of the hospital closer to me. I just really like mine. Am I crazy for driving that far?
