Since it’s been a week and i showed my little man off 💙 here it goes . On December 5th ,2018 I woke up at 5am and my fiancé just got home from work , I got dressed kisses my 2 1/2 year old goodbye (we currently live with my parents at the moment ) and we were off to the hospital at 6am , of course it was snowing and it was slick out which we took our time usually takes only 30 minutes to get to the hospital but it took a hour since the roads were bad . My induction was set for 7am . We get the hospital, and cherish the moment of us walking for our last time to the labor and delivery room since this is our last baby . We get all signed in checked it and we are just waiting for the nurse to come in . The nurse came in asked all her questions and it was time for IV time . I was nervous because she had told me she hadn’t been a nurse for long only since September ... and she started my ivy in my hand and blew my vein (ouch holy hell ) so she got a nurse who had been there for 18 years and she put the Iv in my wrist ( If you haven’t ever had one there the you truly don’t know iv pain holy crap ) and of course she made me bleed to so bad they had to clean my hand up . They finally started the Picton which was about 8am . My doctor came in and checked to see if was dilated anymore since he last checked a week ago (was at 3cm) he told me I had to go pee first weird thing is i didn’t even know I had to pee lol , so I pee and still at a 3cm . He took the hook and broke my water at 9:10am after that he told me to schedule my epidural . It took 2 hours for my contractions to get a little bad , and my water leaked and gushed (gross feeling ) I had to call the nurse about every 15 minutes it felt like . Time passed I told the horse I wanted to epidural and I got it at 11:20pm , I didn’t feel it with my first baby but I felt every single pain of the needles in my back even this weird feeling like getting shocked on my right side of my leg . My heart rate was up and they kept telling me to relax and i wanted to freak out it hurt lol . I finally am done and starting to feel numb my heart is skipping beats so the turn me and make me warm since I was freezing , time passed I didn’t feel my contractions just a little pressure in my vagina area ..... then it happened .. they came in and checked me at 12pm and I was at a 6cm . But something didn’t feel right I was beginning to be in severe pain ... my legs were numb and belly was numb . My pelvic was not And I could feel every single ounce of pain and pressure . I cried screamed .. my fiancé held my hand and I told him please call the nurse I feel him coming . That was at 1:30ish pm she checked me I was at a 8cm she left to call the doctor and she didn’t even get 2 minutes on the phone and I was calling again ! She checks again I was at 9cm !! She left to tell him that I was ready they prepped and I was in pain still screaming still could feel it all .. hot tears went down my face not even a second later I said it’s happening . I was at a 10 they even called the person who did my epidural to give me something stronger for pain but here was no time this baby was coming . My doctor gets in the room . They tell me to push and just remain calm and baby would be out in no time . I did 5 sets of pushes and he was finally out ! My baby arrived at 2:54pm 12/5/18 weighing 6lbs12oz 18.5inches long , he was perfect in every way 💙😌 I cried they delayed his cord for two minutes and then let my fiancé cut it . We are so blessed with this little boy . Even tho I felt it all I would go through it again just for him 💙
