How small can a baby go on a flight ?

My baby is about to be a month old and I need to fly out of town. Can i take her or is she too small? it would only be a 2 hour flight but i heard the elevation is bad for their ears does anybody know about this ?

I was a flight attendant and I’m not sure about the age because I’ve seen teeny babies but every age has trouble with the elevation and not knowing how to pop their ears. I would just advise moms to try to feed their babes at the time of take off and landing. While the babe is moving their jaw around while sucking the milk from the bottle or wherever it would help their ears.
Also for older babes just give them their snacks you have packed and when they reach the age to chew gum or even gummy bears those are the best to help out!

My nephew needed approval from his doctor first and she cleared him after his 2 month shots. She needed to write a note for the airline as well that he was cleared to fly.

I wouldn't take a baby on a flight with the first round of vaccines.  Air is circulated on planes and carries alot of diseases bany may not be immuned to.  The pressure on their ears is the least of your worries.
