Am I crazy!?!?

My husband and I just found out we are pregnant!! It’s our first after 6months of trying 🤩 we decided we don’t want to find out the gender of the baby until he or she is born. We think it would be the most beautiful surprise but any time we tell other people they look at us like we are crazy and say that we will miss out on the little things like gender reveal parties, and picking out cute clothes. Are we crazy? Does anyone else not want to find out till birth??

We don’t want to either. Our home decor is lots of neutrals and nursery will be neutral. Clothes can be shopped for later !  A lot of people end up with tons of clothes they don’t use or not the correct size because baby is too small or too big etc.

I’m not finding out until baby is born. And I don’t like gender neutral colors. So I’m not having a baby shower until after the baby is born. It’ll be a meet the baby shower 😊

My hubby and I aren't going to find out.  There are only a few things in life that can be a total surprise and I want our baby's gender to be one of them.  And plus I will need that motivation towards the end of pregnancy.  ♥️

I want to know but wont be telling many. I want to avoid gender specific clothes, decor, toys etc

We didn’t find out with my first and we won’t be finding out again. It’s pretty amazing! But as someone else said, other people get annoyed.

I love the idea of not finding out the gender till after me and my husband agreed we weren’t going to but after we found out we were expecting we changed our minds mostly because it’s so hard to find gender neutral clothes and partly because we really can’t afford to wait till the baby gets here to go buy a bunch of stuff plus it’s the first grandbaby for our parents and grandparents as we really just want to be able to not stress about it. I stress over every little thing so it’s gonna help ease my mind down the road.

My friend waited with both her kids. I didn't because honestly I hate surprises lol.  I really don't like gender reveals. They're just not my thing. My friend just bought a very few basic onesies, and once everyone found out she had a little girl, she was bombarded with clothes as gifts lol so if you would like to wait, I think you should!

I didn't find out with either of my sons and we don't plan on finding out with the next one. It's actually fun, and everyone is annoyed by it 😂

We don’t want to find out the gender before birth either! People are all about planning and parties and social media reveals these days, which is fine, but I love the idea of a surprise! AND if people don’t know the gender, then you won’t end up with a bunch of baby clothes at your baby shower instead of the items you really want/need on your registry 😉
