Had cramps from around 4am this morning, and they increased from around 6 whilst at work, taking my breath away and I have a high pain threshold. 😩

Work told me to go A&E and get checked out. Was seen straight away and sent to their walk in centre, at both did a urine sample. I then got sent to the Early Pregnancy Unit and was seen so quickly. They wanted to rule out ectopic pregnancy due to the location of my pain.

Within 15 minutes I was on a bed and given an ultrasound. Now it’s not the best of photos as my bladder was completely empty due to the two urine samples and almost a third until I said I couldn’t possibly provide a sample anytime soon after just managing two at the other side of the hospital. 🙈.

Anyway, the lady put my mind at ease and ruled out ectopic and baby is healthy and it’s heart is beating away nicely. I’m measuring at 9w3d. She was more concerned about checking baby was ok than getting a good photo- which i understand!

The downside, the doctor suspects possible appendicitis and I’m to go back if the pain doesn’t ease.

At least all is ok with baby 💙💓🤞🏻

I had a little cry of relief when I saw baby’s heart beating away.
