So I believe it can work because my grandparents got married at 18 and 17 after their first date (not even joking) and we’re married 66 years before they both passed.  However they came from a time where the marriage came first and you worked on it instead of just giving up.  I think today a lot (not all) of people are too selfish at that age to really put what they need to into a marriage.  And I am not saying that is a bad thing.  It’s ok to be selfish when you’re young.  Find yourself and do what you need...but marriage is a thing that isn’t really taken as serious anymore.

Nope my aunt and uncle got married (my aunt was 18, he’s only like 3 years older) and have been together for a little over 40 years now!! Not the norm, but for some people it works out

I was with my now husband when I was 17 and he proposed to me when I was 18 and I said yes. We didn’t actually get married until I was 22 and he was 27. We were happy just being together and getting married didn’t really change anything so we were not in a huge rush. We knew it would happen eventually.

My daughters dad got married at 20 , and now we have a daughter , you could do it , put your heart and soul into it but just think about the reality of not lasting.
