Who has tried Letrozole? Any advice/tips?

Started my first cycle two days ago wondering everyone’s stories on it. Also wondering opinions on opk kit. Just bought the Walmart brand.

I am on my 6th round with letrozole, triger and TI. Only syptoms i have gotten at times were headaches and muscle aches. I would suggest taking it at night that is what i heard so then if you do get syptoms you can hopefully sleep through them.

Hi,
I’ve taken it for three cycles currently in my tww hoping third times the charm haha. I take 2 x 2.5mg pills days 3-7 or this past time 4-8 because of prescription delay. I’ve had good follicles from it, only like two good ones in one ovary and a few smaller ones on the other side. I will say I do get headaches and a teeny bit of nausea as a side effect but your only taking it for 5 days so it goes away quick. Overall I think it’s a good medication, I’ve heard Clomid can have more side effects so I’m happy there is only a few minor ones with letrozole. Hope this helps and lots of baby dust to you!

I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my 4th cycle on letrozole. I did three rounds of clomid and did not respond. We did letrozole with an IUI and I ovulated but did not get pregnant. A year later we tried letrozole again with just intercourse and I ovulated all 3 times with the 3rd finally resulting in pregnancy! I had very mild side effects with letrozole compared to the clomid crazies! The only side effect of the letrozole was pretty intense hot flashes. Good luck!

I did letrozole for 2 iuis and there were hardly any side effect aside from constipation. The Clomid for my 3rd (also failed) gave me the craziest hot flashes and headaches!!

I am pregnant from my first cycle of letrozole with iui.

I took it a handful of times and didn't really get side effects. I used Amazon easy@home opks and tested every 22 hrs (7am and 7pm) and they worked very well for me 😊 i did conceive on it, sadly miscarried shortly after. But that had nothing to do with the meds.
