Vaping while pregnant?

So I just found out I was pregnant & I’m 23 weeks. I’ve always had irregular periods and I’ve even had what I thought was my period a couple of times. But I’ve been vaping so my question is if I stop now will it benefit the baby or is the damage already done?😭. I stopped the moment I found out but I’m so worried I’ve caused something bad to happen to the baby.. please help?

Okay so no one bash me, but I vaped until 26 weeks and my baby is perfectly fine and healthy. (Obviously that may not be the case for everyone) I hate that I vaped that long and knew I was pregnant.

I’m in the same boat but I’m 11 weeks pregnant. I’m very scared and wondering if it’s safer for my baby if I terminated the pregnancy (please no judgement😭). I just don’t want my baby to suffer. How is your baby now?

I had a hard time quitting cigarettes so my doctor actually suggested vaping, of course without nicotine. He said it was a safe alternative and it really does help my cravings. I know there’s a lot of bashing of women who vape while pregnant but it’s better than cigarettes.

The best advice from my experience is weaning yourself off instead of quitting cold turkey and as your pregnancy progresses as long as your honest and open with your doctor about your lifestyle and medical history they’ll be able to monitor you and baby the best way possible. I know someone who regularly and consistently smoked cigarettes her entire pregnancy (and did coke while she was in labor...please do not ask me...) and her baby is perfectly healthy and happy 6 years later.

You’ll have to wean yourself off. Straight up quitting nicotine can cause withdrawal-induced miscarriage
