Slight bleeding after vaginal U/S is normal. Have you continued bleeding, or just the one time? If it was just the one time & shortly after vaginal ultrasound, I would say that is your culprit.

I bled for three days straight with my first pregnancy and I thought it was my period was in a lot of pain turns out I was pregnant was a healthy pregnancy bright red blood can actually mean you had implantation near your period rather than 5 - 7 days before some reason I seem to always have implantation on my period days weird aha

I think this is period. Implantation shouldn't be bright red it's either pink or brown and it's slight spotting.
