Mucus plug!!

So finally at 39+6 my doctor did a sweep .. I started having slight cramps afterwards.. had intercourse at night .. then 17 hours after sweep I lost my muccus plug( I am sure of that because it was a really big distinct looking mucus thingy ) now it’s been 6 hours since.. and I only have mild lower abdomen cramps on and off and zero contractions .. what should I expect after losing the plug? EDIT: I lost a really big piece yesterday .. I thought that was all of it .. but I lost 2 more chunks today .. does this mean that cervix is a bit more dilated now ?
