What type of screening will you do?

The reason i ask is because where I live T21 only is free. The NIPT is 600$ and not covered by insurance. I’m not sure what to do because I feel bad for not doing everything. I’m under 35 if that makes a difference.

Unless you have a family history of a genetic disease, or you would consider terminating the pregnancy based on the results, save your money.

None because I’m not old enough despite the fact one OB wanted it done. My current OB said no.

I got it all because it was covered and it was another ultrasound. That said, it doesnt tell you much and I think I would probably skip if it wasnt covered.

I did not do the additional screening do to cost. You’re not a bad mom because you don’t want to do every test possible. And you can just save the money instead!

None and I’m high risk I decided to wait until my anatomy scan and so far so good 🙏🏻 my doctor said my chances of a DS baby were very low due to my age, and my insurance wasn’t going to cover any of it and so I didn’t want to spend $600 plus and ultrasound that wouldn’t be covered either. I don’t have any diseases that run in my family except autoimmune but there isn’t a specific one, same with my man no known genetic diseases so we opted out.
