Right before we left the hospital they showed us how to care for the circumcision. They just had a long piece of gauze and we rubbed vaseline on the whole thing so it wasn’t dry and wrapped it around the part they cut and put on the diaper. When we changed the diaper the gauze automatically fell off because the Vaseline and you just replaced it every time. Well, they didn’t tell us to push the skin back at all but some moms are telling me your supposed to??? Is that something I’m supposed to just know or would the doctor have told me if I needed to do that?
