The Day My world Changed

Kristina • Baby Girl will be here early December! 💕🎀🌈❄

December 4 2018 we got to the hospital to be induced at 7:30 p.m. we got sent to room 707. I got changed into my gown took my last bumpie picture. And waited for the nurses to come in.. I got my IV and Blood drawn at 8:45 p.m. Dr. Cothern came in at 9:00 p.m. to put thing in my vagina to soften my mucus plug. Contractions started on their own at 11:00 p.m.

December 5 2018 Dr. Cothern came in at 8:30 a.m. and took out the thing that was in my vagina and they started pitocin at 8:45 a.m... At 1:45 p.m. contractions got so intense I asked for some pain medicine they put it in my IV and passed out! Some time in the 2:00 hour I got another dose of the pain medicine and passed out again. At 3:00 the contractions got crazy painful. So they start process with the epidural at 3:15 p.m. I passed back out and slept like a champ! Dr. Cothern came in at 3:35 p.m. to check me and I was dialted to a 6 cm and 90% effaced. My water broke at 3:41 p.m. I went back to sleep.. And woke up at 4:45 p.m. screaming for Wesley (he went to poop) told him I felt pressure he couldnt hear me so I pushed the nurse button.. Dr. Cothern came in so fast and I was dialted to a 9. I asked her if I needed to call my mom in here or could it be a while to go from a 9 to 10? She said that was completely up to me that everyone is different. So I called my mom to come back. I started pushing at 4:50 p.m. because I couldnt help it.. She was coming!! I pushed a total of 4 sets and sweet baby Alyson was born at 5:17 p.m. weighing 5 pounds 14 ounces!
