I am 9 weeks today and had a dr appointment. With both of my other kids I weighed around 140 when I conceived. After 8 years of being a soccer mom, always being in the car for practice and games and working the night shift, this time around I was 245. Today the dr said she was concerned because in the last week I have lost 10 pounds and she is concerned about gestational diabetes and preeclampsia with this pregnancy. She is having me do the glucose test at my next appointment, I will only be 13 weeks and she wants to monitor my blood pressure, that was normal at this appointment but slightly elevated at my last appointment. I am sort of freaking out and obviously want to make sure my baby is safe so i am looking for any kind of low carb healthy recipes you guys use or used if you had either of these in previous pregnancies!
