Hcg levels after miscarriage
I started spotting on Monday night (12/10), had an ultrasound on Tuesday (12/11) and doctor called it a viable pregnancy. Found baby (measuring a little over a week small- supposed to be 8 weeks, baby measuring at 6 weeks 5 days ) with a heartbeat. I was still spotting on Tuesday. Doctor didn’t seem concerned.
On Wednesday morning I started to bleed, not super heavy but like a period. I thought for sure I had a miscarriage. I have been crying non stop for days, but I decided to go get my blood drawn to check my hcg levels to put my mind at ease and to get closure since I didn’t know for sure if I miscarried. I went in today to get my blood drawn and my levels were at 4,639. I know hcg levels vary from woman to woman, but I’m still left not knowing. I tried calling my doctors office, but they were already closed. So now I have to wait until Monday to find out if I did in fact have a miscarriage.
Does anyone know if I could have lower end hcg because baby was measuring small? Or do you think my levels have started to fall because I did miscarry? I just want to know! I hate not knowing.
Help! Thank you!
