Anyone with blue cross blue shield for insurance?

What was your pre and post care like?

My BCBS has a $100 deductible that I have to meet for the year and then I have to pay between 5-10% for things (it differs depending what it is). For normal checkup appointments, my normal MD, it's just copays...same for prescriptions. Since pregnancy is different, it's all covered, I just have to meet the deductible first then pay a percentage. However, they won't let me go get an ultrasound every week...it's just what they deem as appropriate for my care.

My BCBS is 100% coverage for pre and post natal care including the birth either vaginal or c section. No copays or deductibles.

Mine is through work, $1500 deductible and 20% coinsurance. I don't have to pay coppays tho......
I just found out that I will have to pay $270 for my first appointment since my deductible was not met as my plan will roll over for the new year. My appointment is on the 3rd. I am pretty annoyed and wished I had known when I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks ago....

I just found out I have six thousand dollar deductible so I'm bummed I went with my jobs insurance. I been paying on it a year just now decided go to doctor and found out my deductible

I have a $2200 deductible then pay 5% after that with no copays for Drs visit & my doctor becomes a concierge dr for me.

Mine states all pre and post natal care is fully covered. All womens health as well. Just seems too good to be true! Many providers are covered even a brand new womens health pavilion with  your choice midwives nurse practitioners or doctor. 14 single room bed facility with all cares done in room with mother and child. I couldnt believe it

There are literally a billion different policies out there so its best to call BCBS and give them your member number and ask for maternity benefits. My plan has a $550 deductible and I pay 20% after that. But there are soooo many varieties of plans its best to call.

My blue cross covers all maternity 100%. I can do anything related to pregnancy and it's covered. So I guess it pretty much depends on your plan with them.
