Yeah mostly because we knew there was a chance we could find out the gender...which we did with both babies...we also figured if there was a potential problem it would give us time to prepare ourselves and research what to expect etc...

My doctor just gave me the forms and dates and I didn't question it. She didn't give me a choice. Had I said no she prob would have been fine but I didn't say anything because I just assumed she's been at this baby making business for a lot longer then I have so I just went with it.. everything came back good

My doctor didn't offer it to me. She only gave me a dating scan due to irregularity and an anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I would have definitely done it.

No, but I did have the verify by progenity blood test done. With my first I think I did get the scan. I'm the type that would rather know than not know and be able to plan accordingly.

My midwife highly recommended it because my sister in law has Downs Syndrome and was born with a heart condition. They said it Lille is not a genetic factor as my mother in law was older when she was pregnant but that screening for it would prepare us and also inform us if further health tests should be done or if we would prepare for other treatments once the baby was born. Our tests came back clear for all 3 trisomies. 💞

I called member services and they said it was only $10. $10 to see our tiny human again - I'm most definitely in :) My OB said that if it was crazy expensive, like $2000, then she wouldn't necessarily advise it because our odds are so low, unless we NEED that reassurance of course. They're supposed to call next week and get it scheduled soon!
