Twins?

I was just wondering how early can a doctor tell if you're having twins. They run in my family and I'm mortified.

Some people don't know they're having twins until they're born, honestly! It all depends how they are in your stomach. Some stay hidden behind the other. But usually you'll be able to tell at your first appointment. So I'll say 7-9 weeks

As soon as a singleton can be seen mostly.. But a few can be missed, so they double check at the 12 weeks scan. Good luck

I was somewhere between 4 and 5 weeks when we found out. My due date got changed a few times. This is the ultrasound, they just look like two little bubbles haha it was an abdominal ultrasound done at my school, not by a doctor

I saw my twins at 7 weeks but was extremely sick before seeing them on u/s so I just knew it was twins. I had never been that sick with my three singles. I am an identical twin (does not up your chance of having twins) but my moms female cousins has two sets of fraternal twins. My girls are fraternal.

I secretly wanted twins. But my ultra sound at 8/5 only showed one baby. Twins don't run in my family. I just wanted them lol
