Buying things for baby

This is my very first pregnancy DH and I are hoping for a boy. :):) i had zero symptoms or sickness at all and now im 16 weeks!! I did the string and ring test and it went back and forth! So, im keeping my fingers crossed :) im fighting the real urge to not buy things for it already. In talking about furniture, crib, car seat..those kinds of things! I just want to be beyond prepared for our baby! We couldnt be more happy. And all i want to do is talk about it! Haha when do you ladies plan on buying baby furniture and items?
