Nexplanon follow up?

Did anyone else get a follow up appointment 2 weeks after nexplanon insertion? If so, what did they do or say? Is it necessary to go?

I’m low on money and they won’t allow me to pay later, everything is due the day of service. My insurance says they cover it, but i still have to pay around $150 for the follow up REGARDLESS. Also, the follow up isn’t with my doctor since she went on vacation, is it worth it to go or should I cancel?
