Thoughts on "Harold" ?

Not currently pregnant but we are trying. This is my grandfather's name. I actually love it spelled "Herald," because spelled this way has meaning to us. Just curious on what your first thoughts would be if you heard a baby with this name.

I think old man names are adorable on babies. So charming. Harold isn't my favorite of the old man names, but it's still nice.

I personally think it’s old fashioned, but these types of names are becoming more and more unique among all the Masons, Jacksons, Olivers, and Noahs.

I like the spelling "Herald" -- not usually a fan of alternative spellings, but since it spells a real word, and it's meaningful, I like it.
