So I’m gestational diabetic and was also in my first pregnancy as well. My first pregnancy was controlled with a pill and diet although they wanted me on insulin my insurance at the time would not cover it and there was no way I was paying 298 a vial when there were other options. This go around however I am in insulin, the pen to be exact. So idk if this is a stupid question or not but tonight I have been having contractions have been for about 2 weeks now and tonight when I injected my insulin I started having a contraction. After I pulled out the needle I sat for a minute and noticed a big wet clear droplet on my belly. I swiped it smelled it and it had a slight insulin smell to it but my son who is also teething was sitting with me and he’s drooling like a dog Idk maybe if it could’ve been his slobber to. Is it possible for insulin to come back out once it’s in? I was thinking maybe my contraction made my belly so hard and tight it kicked it out🤷‍♀️
