UTI HELP

Hey guys so I think I have a UTI AGAIN well my last one was like in August but anyways, do you guys know if not using condoms can cause a UTI??? I am very prone to them but I haven’t gotten one in a while until now and I recently got on birth control almost a month ago (the shot) so I stopped using condoms and now I think I have a UTI but I don’t know if it’s because I stopped using condoms and bacteria is more likely to get in???? Me and my boyfriend are very clean so im confused on why I get them:( I am very hydrated and drink a lot of water, but I mostly think it’s because we stopped using condoms and I’m prone to them. Any advice would help so much girls!!!! I don’t know the cause :(
