Did you poop during labor?

any tricks or tips to prevent labor poop? I’ve heard some weird shit already

Let me tell you as someone who did poop; 1- you won’t realize it, they clean it up and move right along, and 2- you won’t GIVE A DAMN. By the time you’re pushing that baby out it won’t matter if you poop, pee, vomit, or pop your own eyes out as long as you get that baby out!

There are no tips or tricks to prevent it, if it happens than it happens. 🤷‍♀️ The doctors and nurses have seen that so many times. Personally I never pooped but being in labor for 27.5 hours with 1 hr of pushing with no sleep or an epidural i did NOT care lmao. Once the time comes you wont be thinking about that.

The best you can do to help is to eat lots of fibre and drink lots of water leading up to labour. But it’s no guarantee. 
I spent like an hour on the toilet about an hour before we left for the hospital, and I delivered 45 mins after that. I think by the time I got to pushing I was all cleaned out 😅 sorry if that’s TMI. I didn’t do anything special though, that’s just what my body did on it’s own.

Oops meant to vote yes lol I sure did. I had to go early that day but I was having contractions that scared me so I didn’t want to go 🤦‍♀️ I flat out warned everyone that I would poo when I pushed😂😂🤷‍♀️

The way you're instructed to push is to push like you're pooping so, if it's going to happen, it's going to happen. Can't stop it. I don't know if I did or didn't. It doesn't matter. That was the LAST thing on my mind
