Ovulation?

Is it possibile to have ewcm that only last a day and actually ovulate 3 or more days later when cm is sticky. or is ewcm ovulation day.

I had sex on the first day ewcm the following days cm was sticky. Glow predicted ovulation would be on the 5th of December but i had the ewcm on the 30th of November. I tried using clear blue digital opk to confirm ovulation but the test reader wasnt working. Not really sure when i ovulated i assumed based off ewcm that i ovulated on the 30th especially because the change in cm the next day. But on the 3rd I experienced cramps like ovulation cramps so i thought maybe that day was the day i actually ovulated since last cycle i got my LH surge on November 2nd.

I guess im trying to understand does ewcm determine ovulation or is this just when you are most fertile and can ovulate a few days later while cm is non fertile?
