My baby is enrolled in care for 2 days a week. With the holidays coming we have time off and my child will only be at the center one day a week for this week and next. I'm still paying my normal rate even though shes not going to be there. They said that "holds my spot in the infant room" ....so if we go on a vacation we have to pay for care we're not receiving???? Is this normal? First time mom and first experience using daycare.

Any insights would be appreciated.
