Am i taking this the wrong way

Me and my bf got into it well mostly me i was so pissed at him upset and just fed up during me go off he responded if you leave me I understand I deserve it, i had no response. I just thought to myself wtf why would he say that, so he doesn't care if i leave. We been together two year talking about engagement and moving in. That was such a bold statement to make. Am I overthinking this or does it seem like he's willing to let me go without a fight and doesn't care
