How much to bottle feed?

So right now I'm EBF my 4 week old. I go back to work when he is 6 weeks and was told I need to train my little one now to take a bottle. I am only gonna give him one a day and breast feed the rest of the time. So I pumped out 3oz because I read that a 4 week old only drinks 1.5 to 3 oz of milk every 2 to 3 hours and my husband fed him slowly tonight. Well he loved drinking from the bottle but was crying when he ran out! Does he need more?? Or do I just give him time to realize he is full? Please help!

The milk flows out faster and easier from a bottle so its easy to overfeed a breastfed baby using a bottle. 
Be sure to pacefeed and you’ll protect your breastfeeding relationship.  
At 4 weeks my EBF baby was drinking 2.5oz every 3 hours

3 oz should be fine, my MIL used to overfeed my baby because she thinks every little cry is hunger when really it could be gas or anything else. Try slowing down and burping every ounce.

My baby is 5 weeks and when I do give him a bottle most of the time he will eat 4oz.

Usually when I have given my daughter a bottle (about 3oz) and she seems still hungry I’ll offer her the breast. She will eat for another 5 or so minutes.
