When does it regulate?

Almost four months ebf and I still get engorged breasts at night (he’s sleeping through the night) 
Does it ever regulate? I feel like theyre always huge and engorged.

I WISH I had the problem of being engorged because my baby was sleeping through!

I’m almost 8 months PP and I still get slightly engorged if my daughter’s sleep or eating habits change. If she eats every 2 hours for a couple days and then wants to go 4 hours before nursing, I get engorged because my body regulated to every 2 hours. Just like if she eats 3-4 times overnight and then sleeps through the night my body was regulated to that her needing milk 3-4 times so it takes time to regulate to her sleeping longer. Supply regulation isn’t a once and done thing.
