Living situation, mild rant

I live in a rental home with my boyfriend and our 15 month old daughter. It's $800 a month, not including utilities. My boyfriend said he's gonna be looking at some houses when our lease is up in 8 months. He told me that when we do move out his friend (best friend since elementary) is gonna move in and help pay for stuff, and I have no say if he should move in or not. (I'm a stay at home mom btw)

He's not a bad guy, he told me in the same night that he wanted to get me a $200 Camera that I've always wanted for Christmas.

It just makes me a little irritated that he said I have no say; because I don't pay bills with my own money. (He gives me money each week to pay the bills) I mean shouldn't this be a joint decision? I'm very introverted and I get uncomfortable being around new people, which I feel his friend is going to do. I feel like myself only around certain people.
