Do you agree with your religion

Question

Many times when I talk to people about their religion they say “we cannot do this but I do it anyway” if you’re not practicing your religion is it really your religion? Not trying to be rude just trying to understand. As a Jehovah’s Witness I don’t of anybody who doesn’t agree with it that’s one of us. Do you agree with everything in your religion. Is there something you don’t do that you’re supposed to do? Why do you feel that way?

There’s tons of stuff in the Bible I don’t agree with. And I’m okay with it because it was written by several human authors for specific audiences for specific purposes thousands of years ago. 
Stoning? Slavery? It’s wrong to work on a certain day? My crops have to be planted in different fields? I can’t wear certain fabrics? I believe I can be Catholic/Christian without adhering to these.

All these religions teach that we need to humble ourselves before God for he is all knowing. God has already sent his son for You. “The Son of man came . . . to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.”‌—Matthew 20:28 Blessings for many people It’s our turn to do for God. We owe it to him. It’s not about what we want. It’s about God. He knows how he wants to be worshiped he has the authority to tell us what he wants us to do. He has the ability to make us but he doesn’t. He doesn’t force anyone to believe in him. Everyone on the earth has free will to do as they please. That’s truly loving. If we obey in the future God has promise he will do well with all of the crime and corruption on the earth and Rather than mankind governing themselves God‘s kingdom will be over us. “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.”Daniel 2:44NWT that’s why we pray for it to come it’s already in heaven heaven is pure the earth can be pure too. Be for now God’s “...I, Jehovah, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk. If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”Isaiah 48:17,18 NWT “All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,  so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work” 2 Timothy 3:16,17 NWT I’m not saying my religion is right but GOD IS RIGHT!

I don’t believe anyone is perfect, but to reject something in your belief system that is absolutely there (for a Christian example, rejecting that there is God’s judgement. I do not mean things that are debatable such as Arianism vs Calvinism) is to me a strong and obvious form of pride. After all, I am not the lawgiver. I am not God. If I like one bit of a faith, but not the rest, then either the whole system has to be rejected or submitted to. If not, I become God in picking and choosing what I choose to believe. It becomes entirely self-focused if the basis of truth is my own feelings.

There was a time when I would call myself Christian, but I wouldn’t live my life according to it. Now I fully decided to live a catholic life, and I have to admit it’s hard, but I feel much more coherent and on the right path.

I’m Christian but I go to a church that most closely follows my belief from what I’ve read in the Bible(and even then I don’t agree with that church that much). But I can’t just tell people I’m Christian, so I tell them I’m 7th Day Adventist so they know what I typically can/can’t do

I don’t think any religion is the one true religion. They’re all human interpretations of something divine that we can’t comprehend. 
Christianity is the religion I choose to follow, but I don’t agree with many aspects. I don’t believe the Bible is infallible or even true in most instances. It’s mainly folklore meant to teach lessons and morals.
